About

I am a researcher working in the space of Responsible AI seeking to bring together within a new epistemic configuration, both computational sciences and humanistic social sciences with the objective to unveil and eliminate unjust biases and harms toward historically marginalized peoples in a trans-cultural context.

My research focuses on (1) disseminating and accelerating the pace of AI research by introducing transparency documentation frameworks through novel research in the responsible development of datasets creation, and (2) the computational, sociological, and historical constitution of annotation operative in offensive, toxic and hate speech.

My published work appears in ACM FAccT, Proceedings of ICML, Big Data & Society, among other venues. My teaching interests, are in data ethics, and applied ethics (ethics for engineers).
